Disney’s “Tron: Ares” To Begin Filming

After more than 40 years since the original film was released and after several cancellations, the most notable being in 2015, where Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde would have returned as Sam Flynn and Quorra respectively, Tron 3, which we already know will be Tron: Ares, is going from strength to strength and is doing so driven by its director, Joachim Rønning, who was also in charge of Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge as well as Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Its filming, as Collider has progressed, is will resume after the Christmas holidays.
