We Need to Talk About the Avatar: Seven Havens Trailer
Fellow benders, grab your glider staffs and cabbages, because the full trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens just dropped, and we officially have a new Avatar. If you thought Aang and Korra had it tough, wait until you see the absolute chaos Pavi is about to walk into.
Set a massive 225 years after the end of The Legend of Korra, the upcoming Paramount+ animated series throws us into a world that’s been shattered by a devastating cataclysm. Civilization as we know it is gone, reduced to isolated survival strongholds known as the Seven Havens.
But here’s the kicker: Pavi, a young Earthbender and an amputee, discovers she is the new Avatar—but there is no White Lotus waiting to guide her with open arms. Instead, the world blames the Avatar for the apocalyptic disaster, branding her as humanity’s destroyer rather than its savior. Now, she’s actively hunted by both humans and angry spirits.
As if navigating a post-apocalyptic, spirit-infested wasteland wasn’t enough, Seven Havens is throwing a massive curveball at the franchise’s lore: Pavi has a long-lost twin sister named Nisha. We’ve seen twins in the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes before, but an Avatar with a twin? That’s entirely uncharted territory. Does Nisha have bending abilities? Is she tied to the spirit world in a different way? The Raava and Vaatu theories are already flying.

Of course, no Avatar journey is complete without a solid team. The trailer gives us a glimpse of Jae, an Airbender who serves as Pavi’s friend and mentor, and naturally, an adorable animal companion—a giant cat-monkey named Geet.
The stakes have never been higher, and the lore has never felt this dark. Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere globally with its first three episodes on Paramount+ on Friday, October 9.
Are you as hyped as I am? Let me know your wildest twin theories in the comments!
