Nintendo Drops “Hello, Yoshi!” — A Free App Full of Kid-Friendly Fun
Nintendo just gave young fans (and nostalgic adults) a brand‑new reason to smile: Hello, Yoshi!, a free, interactive app now available on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. As part of the expanding My Mario line — Nintendo’s kid‑focused collection of simple, tactile digital experiences — this new release puts everyone’s favorite green dino front and center.
Designed with toddlers and early learners in mind, the app revives the playful spirit of Super Mario 64’s iconic face‑pulling intro — but this time, it’s Yoshi who gets stretched, squished, poked, and spun around. It’s a charming blend of nostalgia for longtime fans and delightful discovery for little ones.
Kids can tap Yoshi’s egg to wake him up, tug at his cheeks, twist his snout, or watch him react with adorable squeaks and expressions. The app also includes classic Mario‑verse surprises: Super Mushrooms, Super Stars, pipes, enemies, and even a peekaboo mode featuring Boo.
