Fortnite Expands Its Star Wars Universe With Three New Experiences Launching May 1

Fortnite is doubling down on its ongoing collaboration with Star Wars, announcing the launch of three all-new interactive experiences set to arrive on May 1. The update introduces a mix of large-scale battles, creative sandbox gameplay, and immersive storytelling, offering players new ways to engage with the iconic galaxy far, far away.

Leading the lineup is Galactic Siege, a dynamic, team-based experience that pits the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire. Designed as a large-scale interactive battle, the mode allows players to participate in shifting frontlines, strategic objectives, and cinematic moments inspired by classic Star Wars conflicts.

Also arriving is Droid Tycoon, a more relaxed yet strategic game mode where players build and manage their own droid production empire. Featuring fan-favorite mechanical characters from across the franchise, the mode leans into resource management and progression systems, offering a contrast to Fortnite’s usual fast-paced combat.

Rounding out the trio is Escape Vader, a first-person experience centered around survival and stealth. Players must evade the relentless pursuit of Darth Vader while navigating tense environments designed to heighten suspense and immersion. The mode marks a tonal shift, embracing horror-like elements within the Star Wars universe.

The launch aligns with the global celebration of Star Wars Day, further strengthening Fortnite’s tradition of seasonal crossovers and limited-time events tied to major pop culture moments.

With these new additions, Fortnite continues to evolve beyond its battle royale roots, positioning itself as a platform for diverse interactive experiences that blend gaming, storytelling, and fan-driven content.
