Playmobil is finally launching an Asterix collection!
ASTERIX IN PLAYMOBIL. For fans of the irreducible Gauls, the news is historic: a Playmobil collection in the image of their favorite heroes will be released in stores this June 10, 2022! The most important launch of the year for the toy company, which wants to make Asterix the star of the next Christmas celebrations.
After Back to the Future, Scooby-Doo, Dragons and Star Trek, Playmobil is enriched with a new collection bearing the image of the most Gallic of heroes. Six years of work will have been necessary for the development of this collection, the fruit of the close collaboration between the toy manufacturer and the Albert-René editions.
The collection currently has seven lots and the prices are between €7.99 and €154.99: enough to satisfy all budgets. Thus, the biggest box allows you to have the Asterix hut, the traditional boar banquet accompanied by Asterix, Obelix, Dogmatix and five villagers.
The chieftain’s hut, Abraracourcix, and the bard’s hut, Assurancetourix, are also available, with their famous inhabitants of course. The Romans are not left out with two boxes concerning them. The last contains this dear Getafix and his cauldron, ready to distribute his magic potion. Enough to recreate almost entirely the village of our dear heroes!
Each character has been particularly well-worked so that it is recognizable. And, a funny little anecdote, the heads of the Gauls have two faces: one classic and the other angry, while those of the Romans have a classic face and the other with a coward!
