Edward Scissorhands Joins Monster High’s Skullector Line in Limited Edition Drop

Mattel Creations has unveiled the newest addition to its popular Skullector line: a limited-edition Monster High Edward Scissorhands doll, released in celebration of the film’s 35th anniversary. The collectible reimagines Tim Burton’s iconic character through the gothic, fashion-forward lens that has defined the Monster High brand since its debut.

The 10.5-inch doll features the franchise’s signature stylized proportions and arrives dressed in a faux-leather bodysuit inspired by Edward’s original costume. Detailed buckle straps, a layered sheer skirt and knee-high heeled boots include subtle Easter-egg references to the 1990 film. The doll also includes Edward’s unmistakable scissor-blade hands, a mechanical heart-inspired headpiece, a doll stand and a certificate of authenticity.

As with previous Skullector releases, packaging plays a major role. The doll comes housed in premium fold-out display packaging designed to appeal to both Monster High collectors and fans of Burton’s classic film.

The Edward Scissorhands Skullector doll will be available December 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. PT for Monster High Fang Club members, with public presales opening December 5. Priced at $70 USD, the release is expected to sell out quickly, following the trend of recent Skullector drops.
