LEGO has officially announced the long-awaited return of one of its most legendary pirate ships: the Black Pearl from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean. The new Icons set (10365) will launch in September 2025, giving fans a highly detailed, display-ready version of Captain Jack Sparrow’s infamous vessel.

The 2,861-piece model dwarfs the original 2011 Black Pearl set (4184), which contained just 804 pieces and has since become a collector’s treasure, now valued at over $1,000 on the resale market.

This updated release features:

  • 8+ minifigures, including Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, Joshamee Gibbs, Anamaria, Cotton, and Marty.

  • Detailed ship design, with rotating cannons, removable rowboat, working rigging, and a richly decorated captain’s cabin.

  • A display-worthy build, capturing the eerie black sails and menacing silhouette of the Pearl.

The set will be priced between $330–$380 USD, with LEGO Insiders gaining early access on September 12, 2025, before wider release.

Fans of the original set may recall its iconic black sails and rare Davy Jones minifigure. While the 2011 model remains a grail for collectors, this 2025 edition aims to offer a modern, centerpiece build worthy of the LEGO Icons label.

With Pirates of the Caribbean nostalgia still strong, the return of the Black Pearl is set to be one of LEGO’s biggest launches of the year.
