Hasbro has announced Star Wars Droids Animated Series Figures
Hasbro has announced a set of four new Star Wars figures, but what’s different about this set is the toys are based on the short-lived animated series Droids. GameSpot has a look at these figures which includes C-3PO, R2-D2, and two different versions of Boba Fett, celebrating the first time Star Wars took the leap into an animated series and also the second-ever appearance of the famed bounty hunter.
One of the new figures comes from the Black Series 6-inch scale line. That is the new Boba Fett, and the Droids look–which you can see below–is his second animated appearance in the Star Wars Universe, back in 1985, with the first being the Star Wars Holiday Special. This figure is exclusive to Target, and will cost $27. It’s highly articulated and will come with two accessories.
