House of the Dragon first trailer
HBO has released the first trailer for House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel arriving in 2022.
Two hundred years before the events of GoT, the Targaryens ruled Westeros. Regardless of the Targaryens’ enemies within and outside the kingdom, their greatest foes maybe each other. Only one king can sit on the Iron Throne, and he can’t hold it forever.
The cast includes Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower. Savannah Steyn, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan and Theo Nate have also joined the cast as members of the Velaryon family, HBO said Tuesday.
The 10-episode first season will air on HBO and HBO Max in 2022.
