Fan-favorite writer and artist Liam Sharp is heading back to his ambitious sci-fi/fantasy universe with StarHenge Book Two: A Kiss for Atticus, a brand-new four-issue miniseries arriving this July from Image Comics.

Following the critical success of the Eisner Award–nominated StarHenge, this next chapter promises to expand the scope of Sharp’s time-bending mythology while diving deeper into its emotional core.

In A Kiss for Atticus, central characters Amber, Daryl, and Merlin find themselves lost in eerily familiar realms—cut off not only from each other, but from their own identities. As fragments of memory and reality blur together, the trio must navigate these surreal landscapes to uncover the truth behind their mysterious imprisonment.

Beyond its high-concept storytelling, the series continues to explore the themes that made StarHenge stand out in the first place: creativity, storytelling itself, and the struggle to find meaning in chaos.

“StarHenge has always been more than just a time-and-realm-hopping fantasy series,” Sharp shared. “It’s about creativity, the medium of comics, and telling stories. But it’s also about finding our way when we feel lost.”

Visually, the series is set to be just as stunning as its predecessor, with a lineup of variant covers from acclaimed artists including Mike Perkins, Barry Kitson, Tony Parker, Ben Stone, and Matylda McCormack-Sharp.

With its mix of sweeping sci-fi ideas, Arthurian influences, and deeply personal storytelling, StarHenge Book Two is shaping up to be one of the most visually and narratively ambitious indie comics of the year.
