Marvel Comics Embraces Horror With New Midnight Line

Marvel is stepping into the shadows with a daring new publishing line called Midnight, where some of the company’s most celebrated modern creators are free to twist iconic heroes into chilling, boundary‑breaking stories.

Launching this August, the line kicks off with Midnight X‑Men by Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Della Fonte, followed by Midnight Fantastic Four from Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker, and Midnight Spider‑Man by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Scie Tronc.

This isn’t the Marvel Universe you know. The X‑Men no longer fight for acceptance — they hunger for blood. The Fantastic Four don’t journey into the unknown to save the world — they unleash terror upon it. And Spider‑Man discovers that with great power comes something monstrous.
