Dark Horse Turns He-Man Mini-Series Into Ongoing Adventure

Mattel and Dark Horse Comics have announced that their He-Man and the Masters of the Universe mini-series will officially expand into an ongoing comic book series.

The saga began with Sword of Flaws and continued in The Battle of Snake Mountain. Now, the creative team is set to launch a new story arc starting with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #5.

The series will be written by Tim Seeley, known for Masters of the Universe/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles of Grayskull and Magik. Artwork will be handled by veteran He-Man artist Reilly Brown, with colors by Jim Charalampidis and lettering by AndWorld Design.

Issue #5 will feature covers by Reilly Brown, Jim Charalampidis, and Ciro Neili, promising a bold continuation of the battle for Eternia. Fans can expect the same mix of nostalgia and fresh storytelling that has defined the franchise’s recent comic book revival.

This marks a significant expansion for the Masters of the Universe brand, as Mattel and Dark Horse continue to build momentum around one of pop culture’s most enduring heroes.
