Slam Dunk Anime Film Gets IMAX Screenings in Japan

The official website for The First Slam Dunk, the new anime film of Takehiko Inoue‘s Slam Dunk basketball manga, announced on Monday that the film will get IMAX, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Cinema screenings. The website also revealed the movie’s screening schedule from December 3 to 8 in Japan. The movie will start selling reserved-seat tickets on November 5. The film will open in Japan on December 3.

 

The movie will have IMAX screenings in 40 cinemas all over Japan, and Dolby Atmos screenings in 34 cinemas starting on December 3. The movie will get Dolby Cinema screenings starting on December 10.
