Superman’s newest action-comedy revival ages Kal-El to a young man in his 20s just starting in Metropolis. Originally called My Friend Superman, it was quietly put into production amid the Warner Bros. reshuffling in 2021 and 2022 and is now a month away from its official release on Adult Swim.
