Future Enforcer: RoboCop – Rogue City Gameplay Trailer Unveiled

Hold onto your seats, because the gameplay trailer for “RoboCop: Rogue City” is here to blow your mind! With stunning graphics and dynamic gameplay, get ready to step into the metal boots of the iconic RoboCop and clean up the mean streets. This is one game you won’t want to miss!

Teyon has brought their upcoming RoboCop: Rogue City to Gamescom, complete with a brand new gameplay trailer. In addition, IGN has snagged an expanded 16 minutes of gameplay footage for those eager to see Alex Murphy laying down the law that includes an appearance of several ED-209s.

The Rogue City gameplay trailer opens with the series’ iconic newsbreaks, telling the viewer how crime-ridden Detroit has become. while also questioning how safe it is to put trust in a machine for safety. The trailer then cuts to police psychologist Dr. Olivia Blanche interviewing RoboCop as part of dealing with those officers “suffering from emotional trauma”. Interspersed are quick glimpses of gameplay, showing the player RoboCop’s capabilities in police work, such as tracking a blood trail or  sees quick cuts of RoboCop (voiced by Peter Weller, naturally) using his cybernetics to follow a blood trail, determining a short circuit and more.

The trailer also drops a few callbacks to the first film and a brief appearance of Nancy Allen‘s Officer Lewis. There is no word on if Allen will be reprising her role in Rogue City.

As for the RoboCop: Rogue City gameplay footage, it covers the opening minutes of the game, which IGN describes as having everything you’d expect from the original film. Plus, those ED-209s.
