Digital Sun, the studio behind Moonlighter and Cataclismo, has officially revealed ReVamp, a stylish fusion of roguelite action and tower-defense strategy that casts players as Dracula himself. The announcement arrived during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, where the game immediately caught attention for its gothic aesthetic and genre-blending design.

In ReVamp, you’re not hunting vampires—you are the vampire. Players take command of Dracula’s besieged fortress, customizing it room by room, deploying an army of monsters, and personally entering the battlefield to crush waves of mortal attackers. The game leans heavily into a Castlevania-inspired vibe, offering a fresh twist on the classic “defend the castle” fantasy.

Digital Sun describes the experience as an eternal war fueled by blood, strategy, and a tragic love story. Cursed by Achlys, the goddess of the night, Dracula is doomed to defend his throne endlessly as mortals return night after night. Each siege becomes a new chapter in a cycle of sacrifice and power.

Early previews highlight the game’s blend of strategic planning and hands-on combat. You’ll redesign your fortress layout, strengthen your defenses, and command your monstrous forces—then dive into the fray yourself when the invaders breach your walls. It’s a power fantasy that flips the usual vampire narrative on its head, letting players embrace the role of a calculating, deadly lord of darkness.

While ReVamp doesn’t yet have a release date, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing genre mashups on the horizon. Fans of gothic action, tower defense, and roguelite progression will want to keep this one on their radar.
