He-Man Returns in Dragon Pearl of Destruction! Trailer Reveal at Gamescom 2025

The power of Grayskull is back! During Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live, Mattel, Limited Run Games, and Bitmap Bureau unveiled He-Man & The Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction!, a retro-inspired side-scrolling beat-’em-up.

The reveal trailer showcased He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Battle Cat, and more iconic heroes as they face off against Skeletor and his evil forces. The story follows Skeletor’s attempt to awaken an ancient power through the mystical Dragon Pearl, threatening all of Eternia.

Classic Gameplay with Modern Flair

Developed by Bitmap Bureau, known for titles like Xeno Crisis and Final Vendetta, the game promises a mix of classic arcade brawler mechanics and modern design touches. Players will fight across 12 action-packed levels, battling through hordes of enemies and bosses inspired by the Masters of the Universe lore.

Fans can expect single-player and co-op modes, pixel-art visuals, and a heavy dose of nostalgia designed for both long-time fans and newcomers.

He-Man & The Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction! will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with Limited Run Games producing physical editions for collectors.
