Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons Set for Holiday Release on Multiple Platforms
Taito has officially announced that Bubble Bobble: Sugar Dungeons will launch worldwide on November 27, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Fans of the classic arcade franchise won’t have to wait much longer to dive into this candy-themed dungeon adventure.
Alongside the main release, players will also receive a special bonus: a modern port of Bubble Symphony, the beloved 1994 arcade follow-up also known as Bubble Bobble II. The port will be included at no additional cost and supports two-player cooperative play, making it an extra treat for retro enthusiasts.

Physical editions of Bubble Bobble: Sugar Dungeons are confirmed for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, while all platforms will have digital versions available at launch.
This latest entry mixes the series’ signature bubble-bursting charm with dungeon-crawling elements, giving longtime fans a fresh spin on Bub and Bob’s adventures while introducing newcomers to the colorful world of Bubble Bobble.
With its November release date locked in, Bubble Bobble: Sugar Dungeons looks set to become a holiday highlight for retro gamers and new players alike.
