The BBC’s Lord of the Flies reimagines William Golding’s classic 1954 novel with a fresh, visceral lens. Written by Jack Thorne, known for Adolescence and His Dark Materials, the series explores the psychological unraveling of a group of boys stranded on a remote island.
Filmed on location in Malaysia, the series features a largely debut cast:
- Winston Sawyers as Ralph
- Lox Pratt as Jack
- David McKenna as Piggy
- Ike Talbut as Simon
- Thomas Connor as Roger
- Noah and Cassius Flemming as Sam and Eric
- Cornelius Brandreth as Maurice
- Tom Page-Turner as Bill

The trailer teases a brutal descent into chaos, tribalism, and survival, with striking visuals and a haunting score.
