Inspired by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s influential DC Comics storyline, the figure captures Bruce Wayne during his earliest days as Gotham’s vigilante, emphasizing realism, grit, and grounded crime-fighter aesthetics rather than high-tech spectacle.

The One:12 Collective Batman: Year One figure features a comic-accurate fabric costume with a wired cape designed for dynamic posing. Mezco’s signature tailoring approach gives the character a rugged, street-level presence that reflects the tone of the original comic.

Collectors can expect an extensive accessory lineup, including multiple interchangeable head sculpts — among them an unmasked Bruce Wayne — as well as batarangs, a grappling launcher, a tranquilizer gun, a tape recorder, and additional hands for expressive display options. A display base is also included.

Standing at approximately 6 inches tall, the figure stays consistent with Mezco’s One:12 Collective scale, making it compatible with other DC releases in the line. The sculpting and paint applications lean heavily into the illustrated source material, favoring a comic-book look over a cinematic interpretation.

The Batman: Year One figure is currently available for pre-order through Mezco Toyz and select retailers, with an expected release window in 2026. As one of Batman’s most celebrated origin stories, this release is likely to appeal to both longtime DC fans and dedicated One:12 Collective collectors.
