Foundation Season 3 Trailer Drops: Apple Sets July 2025 Premiere

Apple TV+ has officially released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third season of Foundation, the sci-fi epic based on Isaac Asimov’s iconic novels. Season 3 is set to premiere on Friday, July 11, 2025, with new episodes rolling out weekly through September 12.
Set 152 years after the dramatic events of Season 2, the upcoming season thrusts viewers into a galaxy on the brink of upheaval. The Foundation has evolved into a major power, while the once-mighty Cleonic Empire teeters under internal and external threats. The fragile peace between them faces collapse with the rise of a mysterious new adversary: The Mule, a warlord with mind-controlling abilities and ambitions to conquer the galaxy.
The teaser hints at high-stakes confrontations, ideological clashes, and the return of major characters. Jared Harrisreprises his role as Hari Seldon, alongside Lou Llobell as Gaal Dornick and Lee Pace as Brother Day. A major addition to the cast is Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), who takes over the role of The Mule from Mikael Persbrandt.
Although showrunner David S. Goyer stepped back from day-to-day production in 2023 due to budget concerns, he continues to serve as an executive producer, ensuring the show’s creative vision remains intact.
