Watch: ‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Trailer Teases Five New Stories and a Shocking Sequel

The wait is over for fans of Charlie Brooker’s dystopian anthology: Netflix has released the official trailer for Black Mirror Season 7, offering a glimpse into five brand-new stories that promise the series’ signature blend of satire, suspense, and speculative horror.
The trailer, just under two minutes long, showcases a haunting mix of futuristic visuals and psychological tension. While plot details remain tightly under wraps, the teaser hints at twisted social experiments, AI gone awry, and the dark side of digital life — all familiar territory for the cult-favorite series.
In a surprise reveal, the trailer confirms that Season 7 will include a sequel to the acclaimed Season 4 episode USS Callister. The episode will revisit the digital nightmare universe that left fans buzzing years ago. Jesse Plemons, who starred in the original episode, is rumored to return.
Other returning cast include Will Poulter and Industry’s Asim Chaudhry, who will return for their second Black Mirror stints each, in new storylines, after starring in the 2018 interactive special Bandersnatch.
“We’re doing some things we’ve not done before,” Brooker said of the new episodes last year. “People can expect quite a lot of emotion and, hopefully, a good mix of chills. We did a couple of horror stories in season six, called Red Mirror. But this time around, the episodes are all, in a way, like OG Black Mirror. I wrote one script, and the consensus was that it was one of the bleakest, heaviest gut punches yet. There are also techy episodes and ones that are making people cry. So, hopefully, it’s a full emotional workout, but we shall see. The viewers will be the judge.”
Black Mirror Season 7 is set to premiere globally on Netflix in April 2025
