Vans x Stranger Things: this is the new tennis and clothing collection inspired by the famous series

Vans presents its new Vans x Stranger Things collection of athletic shoes, apparel and accessories. It is inspired by the fourth season of the famous Netflix series

The new drop – which will launch for Vans Family Members on August 23, and then fully on August 26 – is a “head-to-toe” collection, including sneakers that look at every part of the Stranger Things world: from the Upside Down to the Hellfire Club to Surfer Boy Pizza. Elsewhere, there’s a very badass Hellfire Club denim jacket and some ace crossover tees.

“Friends don’t lie,” say Vans. “A full Vans x Stranger Things collection inspired by all your season 4 favorites is coming soon.”

Comprised of multiple sneakers and a drove of apparel pieces, the collection highlights the usual classics, all of which are covered with references to the show. The Old Skool and SK8-Hi, specifically, are the only silhouettes to come in two varieties: on one end, they’re dressed with screengrabs or various, Dungeons & Dragons motifs; the other, they’re either covered in direct nods to the Demogorgon or Eddie Munson’s Hellfire Club.

The accompanying Era and Slip-On are somewhat bolder in approach. Alongside featuring the same screengrabs mentioned above, the laced-up pair covers its toe with a fiery version of the Stranger Things logo. This graphic is used much more heavily across the Slip-On, dressing throughout the forefoot as well as the heel. Finally, the Authentic completes the range with its Surfer Boy Pizza-inspired details.
