Full Trailer for INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE Series
AMC has released a full trailer for AMC’s series adaptation of Anne Rice’s story Interview With The Vampire. Sam Reid stars in the series as Lestat de Lioncourt, and he’s joined by Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones ) in the role of Louis de Pointe du Lac.
The series is set at the turn of the 20th century in New Orleans, and it follows the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he relates the story of his life to a reporter, in particular how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt.
Rolin Jones (Perry Mason) serves as showrunner on the series. The late Anne Rice and her son Christopher Rice are also executive producers. The first season of the series will consist of seven episodes. It certainly looks like the creative team did a solid job re-telling this story.
