Boba Fett Returns in Star Wars: Black, White & Red Anthology
Marvel Comics is expanding its fan-favorite “Black, White & Red” series with a new, highly anticipated entry—Star Wars: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red. Set to launch on September 17, 2025, this four-issue anthology will spotlight the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunter in stark, stylized noir tones.
Joining the ranks of Darth Vader and Darth Maul, who previously headlined in similarly styled one-shots, Boba Fett takes center stage in a story written by Benjamin Percy, with artwork by Chris Allen and cover art from Alex Maleev. Variant covers by Josemaria Casanovas and Leinil Francis Yu will also be available.
The anthology is set against a violent backdrop where Fett is hired for an “impossible job” — tracking the best thief in the galaxy. Percy teases a heat-soaked, lava-infested environment and a morally twisted mission, offering a brutal and cinematic perspective on the iconic anti-hero.
“Boba Fett thrives in silence, in deadly precision,” said Percy. “That’s exactly what this series delivers — raw, visual storytelling where every frame bleeds danger.”
The Black, White & Red format strips the Star Wars universe down to its most visceral core, and Fett’s morally gray world is a perfect fit for the minimal palette that has come to define this series.
Fans can pre-order issue #1 now through Marvel or local comic shops. Whether you’re a Fett fan or new to the bounty-hunter’s world, this series promises to be a visually arresting dive into one of Star Wars’ most enigmatic characters.
