Marvel Comics is swinging into multiversal action once again with the announcement of Amazing Spider-Man: Spider-Versity, a bold new five-issue limited series debuting in April 2026. Spinning directly out of Joe Kelly’s current run on Amazing Spider-Man, this new arc brings together a diverse cast of Spider-heroes for a high-stakes training mission led by none other than Norman Osborn.

Co-written by Jordan Morris (Predator: Bloodshed) and Joe Kelly, with art by Pere Perez (Amazing Spider-Man: Torn), Spider-Versity promises to blend high-octane action with character-driven storytelling. The twist? Osborn isn’t just training the next generation of Spider-heroes—he’s also the looming threat they must prepare to face.

Marvel teased that the series will explore new dynamics among the Spider-Verse’s most iconic and obscure web-slingers, offering fans a fresh look at what it means to be a Spider-hero in a world where the mentor may be the monster.

This limited series is expected to deepen the mythology of the Spider-Verse while setting the stage for future multiversal conflicts. With its mix of legacy characters, new recruits, and a morally ambiguous Osborn at the helm, Spider-Versity is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Spider-Man events of 2026.

“Spider-Versity spins directly out of the events of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN,” Kelly added. “Norman has a definitive threat in mind that he’s trying to protect the young Spiders against. One he knows intimately. But even for a master planner like Norman, things may perhaps go awry, and the kids will face some unexpected threats. Nothing like learning on the job!”
