First Look at Tank Chair Anime as Fall Premiere Is Officially Set
Bandai Namco Filmworks has officially confirmed that Tank Chair, the action manga created by Manabu Yashiro, is getting a television anime adaptation set to premiere this fall. The announcement dropped on Wednesday alongside the series’ first promotional video and a teaser visual illustrated by Yashiro himself.
The adaptation will be produced by Polygon Pictures, the studio known for its distinctive 3D animation style. The story follows a comatose assassin who awakens only when he senses killing intent—an intense, unusual premise that has helped the manga gain attention since its debut.
The newly released teaser gives fans a first look at the anime’s gritty tone and stylized action, while the commemorative visual highlights the series’ signature blend of violence, mystery, and psychological tension.
With the fall season already shaping up to be packed, Tank Chair is positioning itself as one of the standout dark-action titles to watch.
