Original Zoids Franchises Teases Return for 40th Anniversary
The Zoids franchise debuted in japan in 1982 and 1983, it’s been about 40 years since the series made its mainstream debut.
To celebrate that, the Zoids Twitter account released a teaser, saying “the promise has been made” and then showing footage of the original anime series Chaotic Century, and announcing something special related to the project in spring 2023!
While not explicitly stated, the phrasing of the tweet seems to imply that the series is poised to make a return in some form. Whether that means the series is getting a re-run, remake, or even a sequel is still up in the air, so we’ll have to wait and see in a few months’ time what it will actually be!
