Anpanman’s New Movie “Pantan to Yakusoku no Hoshi” Premieres June 26

The beloved superhero with a sweet red bean bun for a head is back on the big screen. Soreike! Anpanman: Pantan to Yakusoku no Hoshi (それいけ！アンパンマン パンタンと約束の星), the 37th installment in the long-running Anpanman film series, is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on June 26, 2026.

Directed by Hiroyuki Yano, a veteran of the franchise, the film introduces a new character: Pantan, a traveling red panda with a heartfelt mission.
