First Trailer for Stitch Head: Asa Butterfield Leads Animated Halloween Adventure
The first official trailer for Stitch Head has been unveiled, giving audiences a glimpse into the quirky, gothic world of Guy Bass’ beloved children’s book. The animated feature, directed by Steve Hudson, is set to arrive in theaters just in time for Halloween on October 29, 2025.
At the center of the story is Stitch Head, voiced by Asa Butterfield (Sex Education, Ender’s Game), the long-forgotten first creation of a mad professor. Though overlooked and unthanked, Stitch Head has spent years keeping the castle’s many other bizarre creations in check. But when a traveling freak show rolls into town, led by the cunning Fulbert Freakfinder, Stitch Head is tempted with promises of fame, fortune—and perhaps even love.
The voice cast is packed with talent, including Joel Fry, Alison Steadman, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady, Tia Bannon, and Jamali Maddix. Together, they bring to life a world filled with humor, heart, and a dash of spooky charm.
With its gothic aesthetic, quirky characters, and heartfelt themes, Stitch Head looks poised to become a family-friendly Halloween favorite. Fans of the book series and newcomers alike will get their chance to join Stitch Head’s adventure when the film opens in theaters nationwide.
